24 weeks!

Woohoo for Viability!

Also a huge thanks to my friend Lyndsey who offered up her maternity clothes for me, a major help and nice way to save money!

How far along: 24 weeks, 1 day
Total weight gain/loss: I think I am up about 15 lbs, my scale at home keeps giving me incorrect reads, but I will know for sure tomorrow at my 24 week apt
Maternity clothes? yep, and I am so thankful for my friends that lent me theirs!
Stretch marks? my old school ones on my chest are becoming more prominent, but no new ones (that I have seen.. and I do nightly checks!)
Sleep: not so hot.. I wake up every few hours to pee, cant find a comfortable position, and a snoogle is too big to fit in a queen size bed with my husband...
Best moment this week: the reassurance of viability, knowing that we are this much closer to meeting our precious Whitley. oh and hopefully my best friend Rachel will be having her little boy any day now!!!
Movement: all the time, I feel her the most in the afternoons and late at night.
Food cravings: fettucine freakin alfredo! and brownies
Food aversions: none
Gender: GIRL!!!!
Labor Signs: been having a few Braxton Hicks, but its gotten better since I upped my water intake
Belly Button in or out? in, but still getting more and more shallow
What I miss: nothing really for the moment... I am pretty content being big and pregnant.
What I am looking forward to: dr's apt tomorrow, hopefully good news on the glucose screening!
Weekly Wisdom: nothing really..
Milestones: viability and hopefully getting the nursery painting finished over this weekend!

Wall Letters

I finally finished cutting out Whitley's name for her wall letters. I am still trying to figure out how I can hang them in a cute-sy western way.

I still have to glue the paper on to the letters, but you get the gist of it!

22 weeks.. a bit late

It seems like this last week has just flown by. Of course it didnt help that my laptop crashed on Wednesday...We had a full week last week, then my sister had her state tournament starting Friday. Then Sat morning she had another game, and then we had to drive an hour to go to a wedding for D's cousin, and Dusty was a groomsman. Yesterday just seemed like a blur, we got up early and drove to Jackson, MS to purchase this:

I cant wait to get the crib in and set it all up! Hopefully we will be finished painting by the end of this week!
Here is a pic of me from the wedding, we'll go ahead and make that my 22 week pic! fully belly progress will be back in business in a few days!

21 weeks!

I knew there was a reason I was a few days late to posting this, but I didn't know that reason until late last night. Dusty and I were both exhausted, and all I could think about was studying the back of my eyelids as soon as my head hit the pillow.

Well, Miss. Whitley had other ideas.. As I laid there I could feel her rolling and kicking, and since Dusty hasn't been able to feel her kick, I told him to give me his hand and see if he could feel her. He was probably thinking another lost cause, because everytime he puts his hands on her she either immediately quits bouncing around or the kicks are pretty light. After a minute or so, she was only doing some light punching and kicking, and he couldnt feel it, and then all of a sudden, whop! She kicked so hard, and Dusty said, "Ohhhh! I felt that!" And then another Whop! Two hard kicks later, and I just sat there and giggled like a little kid, she has never kicked me that hard, and I'm so glad he was able to feel her :)
eh, please don't judge me by my nasty veins in my tummy, i hate them!
How far along: 21 weeks

Stretch marks? yes, they are faint, but I noticed two about an inch long on my left side

Best moment this week: last night

Food cravings: Peanut Butter M&M's
Food aversions: none
Gender: girl!!!!!
Labor Signs: none

What I miss: life without sciatic nerve pain
What I am looking forward to: getting together with family tomorrow for the 4th!
